The app and calling service are completely free. Because calls run over standard internet data (Wi-Fi or cellular data), standard data charges from your mobile carrier apply.
Q. Does dialing a number call standard mobile phones?
No. Tsuwa Mini does not connect to the public telephone network. You dial a recipient's dedicated Tsuwa Call Number (My Number) or send a temporary web link. Your personal cellular phone number is never revealed.
Q. Do I keep the same My Number permanently?
Yes. Your dedicated My Number is generated upon first app launch and stored securely on your device. It does not change across app restarts, making it ideal as a permanent hotline for close contacts.
*Numbers are not duplicated or reassigned to others. If you uninstall the app, a fresh number will be generated upon reinstalling.
Q. Does the other person need the app? How does browser receiving work?
No app is required for the recipient. When you share a web call link, the recipient can join instantly in Safari, Chrome, or any modern browser.
*Browser guests can receive incoming calls while the call URL is open in their browser. Background ringing (iOS CallKit / Android ConnectionService) is an app-to-app feature.
